We had the pleasure of working with Michael for the purchase of our townhouse and it is our pleasure to highly recommend him as a realtor for anyone considering purchasing or selling real estate. Michael is the consummate professional in his field. We had interviewed numerous realtors before meeting Michael by chance at an open house on the West Side of Vancouver. Immediately, we were taken back by the honesty in his approach and we were impressed by his assessment of the market conditions at the time. We also found his no pressure demeanor a welcomed change from the numerous other realtors we had met with. At the time, we were not quite in a position to purchase, and Michael respected this. A few months later when we were ready to purchase, we reached out to Michael. Over the next year and a half Michael was very patient with us, to the point where we are certain most realtors would have long given up. Our purchase took much longer than we had originally anticipated due to us significantly changing our search parameters numerous times. In addition, a personal situation forced us to suspend our purchase for almost a year. Throughout all of this time, Michael remained extremely patient and very understanding. We cannot even imagine how many homes he must have shown us in total; probably close to 100 over the course of the year and a half search, if not more. Throughout the process, we found Michael to be very detail orientated and thorough, something I appreciated as a Professional Engineer. He was very methodical in his approach, honest and always acted with the utmost of integrity and ethics. It wasn't just about getting a sale; Michael genuinely cared and wanted to see us happy with our purchase. To make a long story short, we ended up purchasing a home on the West Side. It exactly matches all of the numerous parameters we had set forth. Michael was also tremendous in securing us a good price; his negotiating and inter-personal skills are outstanding. We now consider Michael a friend and would recommend his services to anyone looking for a realtor.

When we first started to look at buying our second home we thought that we had planned it all out so perfectly. On about 3 or 4 occasions we created a list of homes that fit our criteria and fit roughly into our price range, and we spent all day searching for our new home. Almost predictably, the vast majority of our selections were well below our expectations. Even the homes that we had the highest hopes for proved sub-par. We met Michael while attending an open house in Kitsilano one sunny Sunday afternoon. The home he was showing also did not fit our expectations; it was far smaller than we were looking for (though the location was perfect). There, Michael offered us his services, and by the middle of the next week he had travelled all of the way into the suburbs to visit with us. He spent a couple of hours going through listings, helping us narrow down the list. The next weekend we scheduled a few hours to go and look at our first bunch of houses. At the very end of that day we had found the home that we would end up buying. You can imagine that we were nervous finding a home so quickly, but Michael made us feel comfortable in our decision, despite only having worked with him briefly to this point. Michael listened to our concerns, our wants, and our ideas, then gave us his expertise and thoughts. With his help our search was quick, and fruitful, we couldn't have asked for anything more. During the negotiation process he was able to get us a significant reduction off the listing price, and also arranged for some deviations once the home inspection was completed. All in all, we found Michael to be supremely professional, very patient and thoughtful, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a home.
